Description
On day 1, we delve into the rich history of yoga, explore its evolving philosophy, and discover the true meaning of Karma. Gain clarity on the meaning of yoga and uncover what truly matters in your life. Day 2 focuses on aligning your body to find balance and harmony through yoga practice. Led by the highly trained and experienced Alice Cammock, our workshops and teacher training programs offer a holistic approach to embodying the principles of yoga. My promise to you is to offer a rich insightful experience, physically, mentally and spiritually. This course is unique as it is the only one of its kind in New Zealand. Schedule outline: Day 1 Yoga Practice Discussion of the history of yoga, different yoga philosophies and the meaning of karma Lunch Afternoon discussion of the meaning of yoga, study of yoga texts and self-exploration exercises to discover your lives intention and purpose. Afternoon Yin yoga practice Day 2 Morning Yoga Practice Discussion about the meaning of yoga alignment, how alignment applies to embodiment. Lunch Discussion of the principles of alignment, the mechanics of the body and practical application of the 1st yoga alignment principle. Afternoon Yin Yoga practice. *please not this schedule could be subject to change on the day. Investment $400 This course is Module 1 of the 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training. If you wish to do the full 200 hr course please contact Alice or book the 200 hr course on the training page. Please note that all cancellations require 14 business days to receive any refunds. Deposits will be deducted from the refund. Creditable as a continuing education program. This program is Yoga Alliance Accredited. Please not this course is held at female federation ( a women's gym)
