Yoga as Embodiment
Foundations of Yoga - Philosophy and Alignment
Available spots
Description
Over two immersive days, this weekend study explores yoga as a living tradition by weaving together yoga philosophy, the Yoga Sūtras, and the Bhagavad Gītā with clear principles of embodied alignment. Through study, discussion, and practice, we examine how key teachings—such as steadiness and ease (sthira sukham), discernment (viveka), disciplined action (karma yoga), and mindful presence—are not abstract ideas but practical guides for how we inhabit the body and move through practice and life. Alignment is approached not only as physical organization, but as an expression of philosophical clarity: how intention, attention, breath, and structure come into harmony. By connecting classical texts to lived, embodied experience, these two days invite a deeper understanding of yoga as both a philosophical system and an integrative, embodied path. Feb 14-15th.
