Description
Backbends are often seen as heart-opening and energising, yet they require thoughtful preparation, strength, and nervous system support. In this workshop, we’ll explore backbends through an embodied and alignment-focused lens. You’ll learn how to create safe extension through the spine, stabilise the shoulders and pelvis, and build strength in a way that supports openness without strain. Rather than forcing depth, we’ll work with breath, intelligent sequencing, and progressive variations to help you find spaciousness and confidence in your own body. Suitable for curious beginners through to experienced practitioners wanting refinement and clarity. March 7th 11:30 - 12:45 $22 Held at Female Federation - Women only
