Yoga as Embodiment
The Aligned Path
Buddhist Philosophy & Embodied Asana
Description
This two-day immersion explores the intersection of Buddhist philosophy and embodied asana practice. Over the weekend, we’ll study the story of the Buddha’s awakening, the Four Noble Truths, and the symbolism of the Bhavacakra (Wheel of Becoming), examining how these teachings illuminate the human experience of suffering, habit, and liberation. Alongside this philosophical inquiry, we’ll explore the art of physical alignment — not as rigid form, but as an expression of clarity, steadiness, and balance. Through mindful movement and reflection, we’ll consider how the Middle Way can be felt in the body, how awareness shapes posture, and how practice becomes a path toward insight. This immersion invites you to understand yoga not only as movement, but as a living contemplative tradition — where philosophy informs the body, and the body becomes a gateway to wisdom. March 7th 11:30 - 6pm March 8th 9 - 5pm $250 for the weekend - after pay available. Held at Female Federation ( Women Only)
