Description

Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release Teacher Training Deepen your understanding of yoga by exploring the practice of stillness, the wisdom of the body, and the subtle art of releasing tension. This comprehensive Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release Teacher Training is designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who want to move beyond simply teaching poses and develop a richer understanding of the body, fascia, and the philosophy that underpins Yin Yoga. Over four immersive weekends, you will explore both the theory and practice of Yin Yoga, gaining the knowledge and confidence to teach meaningful, intelligent, and embodied classes. Throughout the training, we will explore: The history and evolution of Yin Yoga, understanding how the practice developed and how it differs from more dynamic styles of yoga. The philosophy of the Tao Te Ching, discovering how Taoist principles of balance, softness, acceptance, and effortless action can inform both your teaching and your own practice. The anatomy and function of fascia, learning how connective tissue influences movement, mobility, resilience, and our experience of the body. Myofascial Release techniques, using therapy balls and other simple tools to reduce tension, improve body awareness, and support healthy movement. Integrating Myofascial Release into Yin Yoga, creating classes where self-release techniques and long-held postures complement one another to enhance relaxation and tissue health. Traditional Chinese Medicine, including the meridian system and the relationship between the seasons, organs, and emotional wellbeing, providing another lens through which to understand Yin practice. Sequencing Yin Yoga classes, learning how to design thoughtful, balanced, and purposeful classes that weave together philosophy, anatomy, and energetic principles. This training places equal importance on personal practice and teaching skills. As you deepen your own embodied experience, you will also develop the confidence to guide others with clarity, sensitivity, and authenticity. Whether you are looking to expand your teaching repertoire, integrate myofascial release into your classes, or simply cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself through Yin Yoga, this training offers a rich and practical foundation for both personal and professional growth. Full Price $1100 Part time over 4 weekends - Held at Female Federation ( women only space) Afterpay is available and payment plans can be made upon request.
